Since becoming a mom, I have become more conscious of the food we consume and its impact on my family's health. It blows me away how noticeable and significant the effects of processed foods and artificial ingrerdients present not only in myself, but especislly in my children. So many health issues, developmental issues/delays, immune system problems, and chronic illnesses can be linked directly to the food we eat.
I have been doing my best to make as much homemade food as possible, but I will be the first to admit it is definitely a challenge. Something we all need to do in order to make a positive change would be just starting with educating yourselves on the ingredients you buy. I can't go to any store without scanning every ingredient label for harmful substances or artificial dyes.
